Description

The results of the cross section measurement of the $e+e− → K^0_SK^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$ process with the CMD-3 detector are presented. The analysis is based on 115.4 pb−1 of the integrated luminosity accumulated during several physical runs at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider. The cross section is approximated in the frame of the VMD model to obtain the resonance parameters for the isoscalar $\phi(1680)$ and isovector $\rho(1450)$ mesons. Our results confirm Babar’s conclusion about the dominance of the neutral mode $K^0_S K^0(980)$ in the production of the final state $K^0_SK^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$, which we also observe. The obtained data of the process is used to estimate the hadronic contribution to $a_ \mu = (g − 2)_ \mu$ of muon calculated to be: $a^{HVP} _\mu = (0.86 \pm 0.01stat \pm 0.04syst)\cdot 10^{−10}.$
